About me

I turn ideas into working software.

Hi, I'm Lukas, a software developer with a background in robotics. I enjoy taking an idea from the first sketch to something people can use, and finding better ways to do things along the way.

Outside of work, I enjoy running, cycling, and swimming. Right now, I'm training for my first-ever triathlon, IRONMAN 70.3 Panama. When I'm taking a break from training, I enjoy settling down with a good book.

How I can help

From your idea
to a working application.

Have an idea for an application, a tool your team needs, or a process you want to improve? I can help you shape what it should do and build it, whether we're starting from scratch or extending what you already use.

Custom Applications

Bring your idea to life as a desktop or web application, from a new product for your customers to an internal tool for your team.

Automation

Connect your tools, move data between systems, and automate repetitive tasks so your team can spend time on more useful work.

AI Agents

Build assistants that help people get things done: handle conversations, use your business tools, and carry out tasks.

Robbie — An AI assistant

Lukas & Josef, building RobbiePhoto coming soon

My best friend Josef Machac and I are building Robbie, an AI assistant designed to talk with people over the phone and help them get things done.

We aim to bring Robbie to applications such as a virtual receptionist: welcoming callers, answering questions, and helping arrange appointments. Our first planned demo will let you call Robbie and book a meeting with me through Calendly, using the same meeting option as my online booking page.

Thesis project

Pepper — An AI receptionist

For my thesis, I worked on powering the Pepper robot with a large language model so it could serve as a receptionist: answering questions about schedules and helping visitors find the right people and their contact details. It used retrieval-augmented generation to search internal documents and use the relevant information when answering visitors.
